Access CCTV clips through BBC Motion Gallery
BBC Worldwide, the BBC’s commercial arm, today announced its first ever global clips deal with the Chinese state broadcaster, CCTV.
The deal brokered by BBC Motion Gallery, the archive clips sales arm of BBC Worldwide, means that BBC Motion Gallery will distribute clip footage globally on behalf of CCTV furthering BBC Worldwide’s connections with the Chinese state broadcaster. Collections of clips from CCTV which are predominately HDTV footage can now be viewed online at BBC Motion Gallery’s online catalogue: www.bbcmotiongallery.com
The new partnership bolsters BBC Motion Gallery’s position as the leading global force in archive content distribution, representing blue chip national broadcasters as well as specialist archives. Already the exclusive global representative for the CBS News archive, NHK in Japan and ABC in Australia, BBC Motion Gallery now offers more than 500,000 hours of film with 60,000 available online. Its archive covers more than 110 years of footage including news, history, music, wildlife and sport.

Why I made the "Vote Different" Ad
Why I made the "Vote Different" Ad
YouTube's news and politics editor Steve Grove asks me questions about the "Vote Different" ad and the future of online video.
Vote Different
Make up your own mind. Decide for yourself who should be our next president. NOTE: This is a mashup of the famous Apple 1984 Super Bowl ad. Search for the original on YouTube.

DK Lounge : Home Video : Commercial 1
This is the first of hopefully many DK Lounge commercials. I spent a couple hours dealing with god damn Windows Movie Maker (even though I ... all » have much better software, don't ask why I didn't use that instead). I know nobody gives a shit, but I just thought I'd let you know that I became very enraged during the creation of this stupid minute long video, all because of Microsoft's buggy movie making shit.
Anyway, if you have any negative comments, f_ck off. I had one minute worth of time to put shit in, and I didn't really have the greatest material to work with. But hey, comments are appreciated.

Commercial using movie footage
Have to make a 30 second commercial using movie footage. Any comments or suggestions to make it better would be greatly appreciated. I chose to make a sewing machine commercial using Spiderman. Originally I was going to have Spiderman get a cut in his suit and take it home to see the hole and then he has to sew it up. But I couldn't find the footage I needed for it so I switched to this one. Not sure whether to use it or start over and make a travel commercial with Pirates of the Caribbean .
